New Delhi. Recently in an interview when asked about JNU Attack from actress Deepika Padukone, she replied that “Mujhe jo bhi kehna tha main do saal pehle, Padmavat movie ke dauran keh chuki, ye sab dekhkar dard bhi hota hai aur dukh bhi” (I’ve said already what I wanted during Padmavat movie, seeing this all is so painful and sad).
Actor Deepika Padukone on tuesday has joined students, teachers and alumni around the country who are continuing to demonstrate against Sunday night’s attack on Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi. She went there and marked her presence silently without any violence, giving the message that “Unity is Strength”. She suddenly joined the protest at 7:45 p.m. and stayed for 10 to 15 minutes with the students.
